Remember!

For many short adjectives:

adjective + -er + than

tall → taller than
fast → faster than
small → smaller than

For longer adjectives:

more + adjective + than

interesting → more interesting than
beautiful → more beautiful than
expensive → more expensive than

Some adjectives are irregular:

good → better
bad → worse
